What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is an ancient practice that has been around for thousands of years. At its core, it’s the conscious control of your inhalation and exhalation, using the diaphragm in specific ways to shift how you feel, think, and experience your body.

Different styles vary in depth, speed, and rhythm of breathing, and whether you breathe through the nose or mouth. Popular examples include:

  • Box Breathing

  • Holotropic Breathwork

  • Wim Hof Method

  • Coherent Breathing

I specialise in Transformational Breath®, a unique technique that goes deep into healing and self-connection.

This practice uses a deep diaphragmatic breath, breathing fully into your belly and lungs.

The rhythm is:

Connected & Circular – no pauses between inhale and exhale

Active Inhale – drawing energy in with purpose

Passive Exhale – letting go with ease and surrender

This flow creates a powerful circuit that helps you release tension, unlock energy, and feel more alive.

What Happens in a Workshop or 1:1 Session?

You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you like about your journey, challenges, or goals.

Here’s what a typical session looks like:

  • Intro & Explanation — understanding the technique and what to expect.

  • Intention Setting — creating a personal focus or goal for your session.

  • Breath Session (45 mins) — a guided journey using Transformational Breath®.

  • Integration & Relaxation (15 mins) — allowing your body to settle and absorb the experience.

  • Expression & Reflection — space to share, journal, or process what came up.

Every session is a safe container for free expression, where your experience unfolds naturally.

How Many Sessions Do You Need?

  • 1 Session: perfect if you’d like to try it as a one-off experience or gift.

  • 3 Sessions (minimum recommended): dive deeper into the physical, mental, and emotional layers.

  • 5+ Sessions: fully integrate the technique and begin to master the journey for yourself.

The more you commit, the greater the transformation.

What Should You Bring?

  • Comfortable, loose clothing (avoid anything tight around your belly).

  • A bottle of water (take away electrolysed reduced hydrogen rich water as a gift).

  • A journal (highly recommended for writing down insights or realisations).

Breathwork often brings clarity around life direction and next steps, journaling afterwards helps capture that guidance.

Pregnant or trying for a baby?

You can join if your pregnancy is not delicate. We’ll adapt the session by avoiding certain acupressure points and making sure you feel fully supported.
